"EVERYTHING IS INVESTMENT"

IN THIS WORLD EVERYTHING INVESTMENT.
A WISE INVESTMENT CAN GIVE YOU A LOT NAHI TO YOU KNOW WHAT..

i realized from childhood we have started investing in our daily day to day life. like use of energy or say we are investing our energy to get something. like a boy plays football...
what i see that boy is investing his time and energy in playing from which he is gaining fun, fitness etc.
after investment we always gain or loose. if our investment is in good place or say wise investment this will obviously will give good returns.
everyday exercise... investment of time and sleep      profit of fitness
everyday drinking habit.... investment of time and self control.... result lost of health

let me know about your view

Pawanmuktasana " Wind relieving"

this is one of the most amazing yoga ever seen... as name it self say wind relieving yoga,  say pawan means wind mukta means relieving and asana means position.s

steps:
 I -  lie down
II  - Raise your RIGHT knee.
III - Wrap your hands around your RIGHT knee.
IV -  Raise your head towards your knee. Breathe, release.

Repeat with the LEFT leg. You can also do the rocking motion slowly with rhythm.

Remember that while practicing the Wind Relieving Pose, resist the tendency to raise the lower back or buttocks off the ground and try to keep the leg that is on the mat as straight as possible. Aside from releasing unwanted gases from the intestines and stomach, the exercise will also massage the abdominal organs and the rocking motion will get rid of the stiffness in your spine

BENEFITS OF THIS POSE:-
  1.   solve gas problem
  2.  The abdominal muscles are tensed and the internal organs are compressed which increases the blood circulation and stimulates the nerves, increasing the efficiency of the internal organs
  3.  The pressure on the abdomen releases any trapped gases in the large intestine.
  4. Blood circulation is increased to all the internal organs.
  5. Digestive system is improved.
  6. Relieves constipation.
  7. Strengthens the lower back muscles and loosens the spinal vertebrae.
  8. Sterility and impotence.
 this assna is not for
  • Anyone suffering from hernia or piles should avoid this asana.
  • Pregnant women should not practice this asana.
  • If there is any pain, stiffness or injury to the next the head should remain on the floor.

meditation

i am practicing meditation since childhood, but without guidance. i realized that meditation need proper guidance, without guidance it may benefit or may not.
after following art of living and inner instinct guided me. meditation can be different type, like chatting god name or mantra repeatedly is also type of mediation, concentration in some some task is also mediation, sleeping is also mediation.
in mediation means becoming fully conscious with your surrounding. it is said when Buddha was enlighten he could hear ant crawling in earth. this is power of meditation. becoming fully aware what is going around your world.
one thing common in  meditation, is to be aware of your breath, in- out. when you become aware of your breath with span of time your mind/brain start getting silent.
when i do mediation, i have seen negative thing which i like, eg smoking and all, first few day its work but after few day i get strong feeling towards my negative thoughts.

tips :
do not try to control your mind,
focus in your breath,
do not  meditate in  late night
best time for meditation is before sunrise
be in contact with good Guru / teacher who can guide you
most important thing never loose your smile, and be feel relaxed and feel divine is always here to guide you!

Experience " Sudarshan Kriya.."

Being a medical doctor, and having ‘been there done it all’, at 36 years of age I realized I was still searching for something, but was unable to know exactly what.
I went for a talk for Doctors by a Doctor about medical research on a breathing technique calledSUDARSHAN KRIYA that could alter DNA in Nov 2005. Now that was something that triggered my curious intellect.10 minutes into the talk , 2 min of looking at the smiling faces of some Art of Living members on stage and I knew I would be at the course venue next morning, along with my husband.
After the first Kriya I knew I had started my earnest journey to discover ‘that something’ I had been missing. A small but clear voice in my head said ‘Continue with this and you will eventually find the answers to your burning questions.’
When I asked my teacher ‘What next’, his smiling reply was ‘Do the Art of Silence course’, and I went for it. Like a bird in a cage I was flustered during the course, since I was silent for the first time in years but again I heard the same voice. After this, still not convinced about the ‘Guru’ principle, I continued to feed my intellect with Sri Sri 's talk CD's and books but amazingly would go to sleep like a little baby and wake up all wise and smart.
One day at my hospital  a complication with a patient made me feel helpless for the first time in life and I heard myself speak to Sri Sri's photo on my desk, asking Him to do something. After 3 days, in a follow up X ray I witnessed a miracle. The fractured segment of instrument lodged in the patient’s bone had vanished. That moment I saw what I had been missing - I saw My Guru. Now I had the burning desire to meet Him, somehow, somewhere, but soon and I started vehemently praying for it!
That wonderful day happened in Ahmedabad at Maha Shivratri in 2007. There were thousands of people, and it seemed impossible that I would get to meet Him in person. So I just closed my eyes and started expressing my gratitude under my breath. Suddenly people started nudging me to get up and go towards the stage because GURUJI was asking me if I wanted to share something and that I should be given a mike. Walking through that crowd towards my Master I realized He knew ME all along.
Now 8 years later, miracles are have become a part of my life. I was cured of claustrophobia and panic attacks through eternity process, Vertigo with Blessings course and Yoga, Even pre-cancerous findings disappeared with my regular practice of Sudarshan Kriya and Sri Sri Ayurvedaproducts. Now as a Dentist I continue to create smiles as my business. But bringing life and adding miles to those smiles is my one and only mission, which with the Grace of my Master I am able to do as an Art of Living Teacher and Blesser.
Content in every aspect of life with a loving husband who supports my endeavors to spread the Art of Living knowledge and two wonderful boys who are also steadily bringing Yoga, Ayurveda and Meditation in their daily routine there is only one prayer I am hoping my MASTER will continue to fulfil - Let me continue serving HIM.  I want to be more useful in this lifetime and only He can put me to good use. :)

Research on Meditation

A 2013 metastudy of mindfulness meditation found moderately improved anxiety and depression
.A 2003 meta-analysis found that Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) may be broadly useful for individuals attempting to cope with clinical and nonclinical problems. Diagnoses for which MBSR was found to be helpful included chronic painfibromyalgia, cancer patients and coronary artery disease. Improvements were noted for both physical and mental health measures

Sahaja yoga and mental silence[edit]

Sahaja yoga meditation has been shown to correlate with particular brain and brain wave activity. Some studies have led to suggestions that Sahaja meditation involves 'switching off' irrelevant brain networks for the maintenance of focused internalized attention and inhibition of inappropriate information

Kundalini yoga

Kundalini yoga meditation research has found that there "appears to produce structural as well as intensity changes in phenomenological experiences of consciousness",

Theoria

Fifteen Carmelite nuns came from the monastery to the laboratory to enter a fMRI machine whilst meditating, allowing scientists there to scan their brains using fMRI while they were in a state known as Unio Mystica (and also Theoria).

Slowing Ageing Process.

he researchers concluded saying "We have reviewed data linking stress arousal and oxidative stress to telomere shortness. Meditative practices appear to improve the endocrine balance toward positive arousal (high DHEA, lower cortisol) and decrease oxidative stress. Thus, meditation practices may promote mitotic cell longevity both through decreasing stress hormones and oxidative stress and increasing hormones that may protect the telomere.

Work stress

A study of GPs attending a meditation workshop found subsequent falls in their Kessler Psychological Distress Scale.

Calming effects

It is thought that some types of meditation might work by reducing activity in the sympathetic nervous systemand increasing activity in the parasympathetic nervous system,or equivalently, that meditation produces a reduction in arousal and increase in relaxation.

Relaxation response

Herbert Benson, founder of the Mind-Body Medical Institute, which is affiliated with Harvard University and several Boston hospitals, reports that meditation induces a host of biochemical and physical changes in the body collectively referred to as the "relaxation response"

Sleep need

Kaul et al. found that sleep duration in long-term experienced meditators was lower than in non-meditators and general population norms, with no apparent decrements in vigilance

Brain activity

The medial prefrontal and posterior cingulate cortices have been found to be relatively deactivated during meditation (experienced meditators using concentration, lovingkindness and choiceless awareness meditation). In addition experienced meditators were found to have stronger coupling between the posterior cingulate, dorsal anterior cingulate, and dorsolateral prefrontal cortices both when meditating and when not meditating.
Another study (of Tibetan Buddhist, QiGong, Sahaja Yoga, Ananda Marga Yoga and Zen meditators) found reduced functional interdependence between brain regions in meditation.
During meditation a modest increase in slow alpha or theta wave EEG activity has been observed

conclusion:
Wikipedia is big help for my blog. while exploring on research on meditation helped me to understand meditation benefit. it helped to understand that meditation help is calming our mind, relaxation, change in our perception, improvement in our performance and many. i also came to know that long term meditator sleep is lower than non meditators.
i used to practice my meditation not regular but yes i used to do... but never different form of meditation. what type of meditation is good for what.
in my next blog  i will writing about how to meditate.....
thank you!

Meditaion

closing your eyes and sitting in  your comfort position is it called meditation... ? what is mediation how does this  work...?  there are many question  which need a thoughtful guidance so started my journey with Google you-tube and reference with different site's.

from Wikipedia,the free encyclopedia.. meditation:-
Meditation is a practice in which an individual trains the mind or induces a mode of consciousness, either to realize some benefit or for the mind to simply acknowledge its content without becoming identified with that content,   or as an end in itself.
The term meditation refers to a broad variety of practices (much like the term sports) that includes techniques designed to promote relaxation, build internal energy or life force (qikiprana, etc.) and develop compassion, love, patience, generosity and forgiveness. A particularly ambitious form of meditation aims at effortlessly sustained single-pointed concentration meant to enable its practitioner to enjoy an indestructible sense of well-being while engaging in any life activity.

after reading an article on Wikipedia i came to know that meditation existed from earliest, references on meditation are found in the Hindu Vedas...  in different religion people are practicing meditation. meditation does not belong to one...  its not eastern nor western its belong to human its belong to mind...
it is a technique for relaxing your mind from stress, its not for only old nor for young but it belongs to every age.. everyone wants progress in their life..  its not for only sanyasi or say person who will meditate become sanyasi.

art of living on meditation:
The rest in meditation is deeper than the deepest sleep that you can ever have. When the mind becomes free from agitation, is calm and serene and at peace, meditation happens.
The benefits of meditation are manifold. It is an essential practice for mental hygiene. A calm mind, good concentration, clarity of perception, improvement in communication, blossoming of skills and talents, an unshakeable inner strength, healing, the ability to connect to an inner source of energy, relaxation, rejuvenation, and good luck are all natural results of meditating regularly.
Since the 1950s hundreds of studies on meditation have been conducted. Research on the processes and effects of meditation is a growing subfield of neurological research. Modern scientific techniques and instruments, such as fMRI and EEG, have been used to see what happens in the body of people when they meditate, and how their bodies and brain change after meditating regularly.
will talk about different research on meditation next time....

the mind unleashed:- THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING

THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING

A Russian scientist has been studying the human energy field and is claiming that people can change the world simply by using their own energy. While this idea is not new, not too many have taken the time to scientifically go about proving such ideas -although the field of quantum physics has shed some powerful light on the topic over the years. Dr. Konstantin Korotkov, professor of physics at St. Petersburg State Technical University, states that when we think positive and negative thoughts, each have a different impact on our surrounding environment.
mindover
“We are developing the idea that our consciousness is part of the material world and that with our consciousness we can directly influence our world,” said Dr. Konstantin Korotkov.
We cannot see energy very easily with the human eye and thus the world of unseen energy can be difficult for the mind to grasp without scientific measurements to verify what is taking place. Perhaps this is why the study of consciousness affecting our reality has been virtually untouched for so long. To help create a bridge between our physical and unseen world, scientific experiments using a technique called bioelectrophotography are being carried out. In these experiments, an assumption must be made that states the human body and consciousness is constantly emitting energy. Following this assumption, Bioelectrophotography aims to capture these energy fields seen as a light around the body. In the metaphysical world this energy emission is known as a person’s aura, while in the scientific field, it is often refereed to as our energy field.

PRINCETON RESEARCH
Dr. Korotkov is not the only one studying the affects of the human mind, thoughts and energy on our surrounding environment. The Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research (PEAR) Laboratory has also been trying to wrap their heads around the subject and have concluded that the mind does in fact have a subtle capacity to influence the output of devices known as Random Event Generators (REGs).
A project that initially started when a student was curious to study the effects of the human mind and intention on the surrounding environment, turned into a rigorous testing lab where Dr. Robert Jahn and his lab assistant spent many hours experimenting to determine whether or not the mind has an affect on our physical world. Jahn and his assistant were able to determine that the human minds interactions with the machines demonstrated a relationship that was not physical in nature. The mind was able to affect and change outcomes of the machine in ways that were beyond explainable. In essence, consciousness was having an affect over the physical world.
To determine the affects of the minds intention on the physical world, they built several machines called a random number generator. The machine would essentially mimic a coin flip and record the results over time. The machine performed 200 flips per second and produced an average mean of 100 as one would expect. Left unattended, the machine would continue to produce results that suggested a 50/50 chance of producing either heads or tales. The interesting results came when human intention started to interact with the machine. What was once a random 50/50 chance of producing heads or tales began to deviate from expectation as the observer began to intend for the numbers to be higher or lower. While the affects of the mind over the the machines was not large, it was enough that contemporary physics is unable to explain what exactly is happening. Perhaps this is where the quantum world can shed light?
The implications this research could have on humanity is quite fascinating given it could reach into the realms of creating a world of peace, healthy living and joy. If intentions and thoughts can impact something the way it has been demonstrated above, why not explore the boundaries of how far this can go? It is my belief that we create our realities with our thoughts and intentions, I feel science is starting to confirm this and in time we will realize the true power of our minds and intentions.
The video below is a very brief synopsis of the Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research laboratory of Princeton University, whose research into mind-matter interaction forms the foundation of Psyleron Technology.

Here is a picture of the human bio-energy field after meditation taken using Kirlian photography. Kirlian photography is a collection of photographic techniques used to capture the phenomenon of electrical discharges all living organisms emit.

happy new year to all....

Sri Sri's New Year Message

A New Year is the time when a lot of people stumble at the realization, "Oh! Another year has gone by!" We wonder for a few moments at the current of time that flows by, and then again we get busy. The funny thing is that this happens nearly every year.
If we go deeper into these moments of wonder, we realize that there is an aspect of us that is a witness to all the events of time. This witness inside us is unchanging, and it is from here that we observe all the change that time brings.

(first day of the year and first sunrise... happy new year)

All the events in life that have passed have become a dream. Wisdom is becoming aware of this dream-like nature of life even as it is unfolding now. Knowing this brings tremendous strength from within and you do not get shaken by events and circumstances. At the same time, events have their own place in life. We need to learn from them and keep moving.
Among the major developments this year, the elections in India brought a significant shift in the social and political atmosphere. People actively united in voting against corruption and mis governance and after three decades, the country got a stable majority government. This change has also positioned India very strongly on the world stage. Our relationships with other countries are much better than they have been and the United Nations has recently declared an International Yoga Day at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call. The successful mission to Mars a few months ago also showcased India's merit in technology.
However, news and videos of barbaric mass killings by terror groups around the world have been a very disturbing development this year. Tehreek-e-Taliban, the same group that burnt the Art of Living Center in Islamabad earlier has now killed over 130 school children in Peshawar. IS has also wreaked havoc in several countries. Our volunteers have been engaged in relief work in Sinjar Mountains and Erbil in Iraq where the survivors of the genocide on the Yezidi community have been trapped. Despite many difficulties, our volunteers have been able to airdrop about 120 tons of food and rescue 200 girls from IS but a lot more needs to be done.
Whatever the challenges, we need to keep making efforts to create a better world. This is possible when we are established within ourselves. In you, there is an actor and there is a witness. As you go inwards, the witness aspect grows in you and you remain untouched by events. And as you go outwards, the actor in you becomes more skillful in responding to situations.
These two entirely opposite aspects of our being are nurtured by meditation. When you come closer to the Self, your action becomes powerful in the world and right action in the world brings you closer to the Self.
As the new year approaches, let us resolve to be unshakable within and move towards a better world. Time changes people but there are people who change the time. May you be one of them. Happy New Year!

Piles

my friend asked me to write on this topic which i am doing so....
in this i have given some information on piles....

Piles are hemorrhoids that become inflamed. Hemorrhoids are masses, clumps, cushions of tissue in the anal canal - they are full of blood vessels, support tissue, muscle and elastic fibers.

Although hemorrhoids are thought of as unpleasant inflammations, we all have them.1 It is when the hemorrhoidal cushions become too big (inflamed) that problems occur - when this happens they are called piles or pathological hemorrhoids.2

Facts on piles
Here are some key points about piles. More detail and supporting information is in the main article.
  1. Piles are hemorrhoids that become inflamed.
  2. The size of piles can vary and are found inside or outside the anus.4
  3. Around 10% of patients who go and see their doctor about piles, require surgical treatment.2
  4. Piles are often not serious and go away on their own.5
  5. Internal hemorrhoids are ordered into four grades
I.        .7Grade 1 - there are small inflammations, usually inside the lining of the anus. They are not visible
II.        Grade 2 - larger than grade 1 hemorrhoids, but also inside the anus. When passing a stool, they may get pushed out, but return unaided
III.        Grade 3 - often called 'prolapsed hemorrhoids'; these appear outside the anus. The patient may feel them hanging out. They can be pushed back in if the patient presses with their finger
IV.        Grade 4 - these cannot be pushed back in and need to be treated by a doctor. They are large and stay outside the anus all the time.

  1. External hemorrhoids are called perianal hematoma.
  2. Piles occur due to chronic constipation, chronic diarrhea, lifting heavy weights, pregnancy or straining when passing a stool.
  3. A doctor can usually diagnose piles rapidly on examination.
  4. For grades 3 or 4 hemorrhoids, surgery may be necessary.

What are the signs and symptoms of piles?
In most cases piles are not serious and go away on their own after a few days.5
An individual with piles may experience the following symptoms:6
§  A hard lump may be felt around the anus. It consists of coagulated blood, called a thrombosed external hemorrhoid. This can be painful
§  After going to the toilet, a feeling that the bowels are still full
§  Bright red blood after a bowel movement
§  Itchiness around the anus
§  Mucus discharge when emptying the bowels
§  Pain while defecating
§  The area around the anus may be red and sore

Why do piles occur?
The blood vessels around the anus and in the rectum will stretch under pressure and may swell or bulge. Inflamed veins (hemorrhoids) can develop when pressure increases in the lower rectum. This may be due to:
§  Chronic constipation9
§  Chronic diarrhea10
§  Lifting heavy weights11
§  Pregnancy12
§  Straining when passing a stool.13
The tendency to develop hemorrhoids may also be inherited. The risk of developing piles grows with age.14

What are the treatment options for piles?
In the majority of cases, piles resolve on their own without the need for any treatment. Treatments can help significantly reduce the discomfort and itching that many patients experience.
A good doctor will initially recommend some lifestyle changes.
Diet - piles can be caused by too much straining when doing bowel movements, which is the result of constipation. A change in diet can help keep the stools regular and soft. This involves eating more fiber, such as fruit and vegetables, or switching your cereal breakfast to bran.16
Water is the best drink, and the patient may be advised to increase his/her water consumption. Some experts say too much caffeine is not good.
Body weight - if the patient is obese, losing weight may help reduce the incidence and severity of hemorrhoids.17

Simple things you can do yourself to help prevent piles:10
§  Try not to strain when you go to the toilet
§  Avoid laxatives
§  Exercise.

Ointments, creams, pads and other OTC medications - there are some over-the-counter (OTC) medications which help soothe the redness and swelling around the anus area. Some of them contain witch hazel, hydrocortisone, or some other active ingredient which can relieve symptoms of itching and pain.1813
It is important to remember that they do not cure piles, they only treat the symptoms. Do not use them for more than seven consecutive days - longer periods may irritate the anus area and cause skin thinning. Unless advised to by your doctor, do not use two or more medications simultaneously.
Corticosteroids - these can reduce inflammation and pain.13

Painkillers - ask your pharmacist for suitable painkilling medications, such as acetaminophen (Tylenol).19

Laxatives - the doctor may prescribe one if the patient suffers from constipation.19

Banding - the doctor places an elastic band around the base of the pile inside the anus, cutting off its blood supply. After a few days the hemorrhoids fall off. This can work for grades 2 and 3 hemorrhoids.19

Sclerotherapy - a medicine is injected to make the hemorrhoid shrink - the hemorrhoid eventually shrivels up. This is effective for grades 2 and 3 hemorrhoids, and is a useful alternative to banding.19

Infrared coagulation - also referred to as infrared light coagulation. Used for grades 1 or 2 hemorrhoids. A device burns the hemorrhoid tissue.19

Surgery - used for particularly large piles, or grades 3 or 4 hemorrhoids. Generally, surgery is used if other procedures were not effective. Sometimes surgery is done on an outpatient basis - the patient goes home after the procedure.

§  Hemorrhoidectomy - the excess tissue that is causing the bleeding is surgically removed. This can be done in various ways. It may involve a combination of a local anesthetic and sedation, a spinal anesthetic, or a general anesthetic. This type of surgery is the most effective in completely removing piles, but there is a risk of complications, which can include difficulties passing stools, as well as urinary tract infections.19
§  Hemorrhoid stapling - blood flow is blocked to the tissue of the hemorrhoid. This procedure is usually less painful than hemorrhoidectomy. However, there is a greater risk of hemorrhoid recurrence and rectal prolapse (part of the rectum pushes out of the anus).19
